Even at school and during my studies, I was the one who always took notes, drew up tables and kept lists, and it was not uncommon for my fellow students to come to me after lectures and ask for an overview. ‘People who keep things tidy are just too lazy to search’ was a saying I often heard as a child. But why should I waste my time searching when I enjoyed being so organized? Maybe a little OCD or control freakery plays a part, but that's getting too far afield...
A few years ago, I discovered Notion while searching for a cross-device online option for collecting notes, creating lists and planning projects. A dream come true! It all started with a database for my knitting projects, as I was slowly losing track of my yarn collection and the various patterns. I wanted to make it available to my mother as a template and revised the related tables and lists to make them easier to use for Notion newbies.
My personal use turned into a business idea, and soon I had a long list (of course!) of ideas for additional templates that could simplify everyday life and help plan and keep track of hobbies. Since then, I've been spreading my love for simple and visually appealing productivity tools and organizational structures, and I still have so many more ideas for additional templates up my sleeve.
